I have a recording studio and a fair bit of experience writing original music for radio(sci-fi as it happens), and TV(ads). Currently it'd be stereo 48K 24-bit and downwards so no 5.1 surround sound ;-(...I can contribute either themes, incidentals, background, even some FX and foley or even songs in A LOT of genre's but you might not want my half-baked singing voice..If you are committed to using existant material will require licencing($$'s) at some point....

How about Yoshimi Battle the Pink Robot by the flaming lips. It's about someone who battles evil robots. Makes me think about 1950s sci-fi.

Scarborough RT Has a retro-futuristic feel to it. I'm fond of the Lawrence East entrance.

I understand using Wetpaint is a bit of an experiment. It's a bit confusing to easily figure what's the new info, and what's not, and avoiding wading through stuff I've already read. Still confusing, even though I understand I can Page History to get the exact details of what was changed and when.
I think it might work better to split each category into a separate page, and then for people to add comments as their suggestions come, using the comments area as a sort-of common thread in a forum. So one page could be songs, one page locations, one page ideas, etc.

Yep, twas always the plan -- Locations now on their own page. I too would like it to be easier to identify the new comments and who authored them, but changing to another system would be more trouble than its worth at this point. Suggestions on other better (free, easy to use) systems for next time welcome!

How about Tommy Thompson Park (Leslie Spit) as a place to shoot. It's definitely a weird place in a real life (a public park made up of construction debris), but I'm not sure if that could be captured on camera.
As well, apparently the RC Harris Filtration Plant is very nice, but it's been under construction for a long time. Is it finished yet? Filming around there might be an issue too -- security wise.
If you like the idea of graffiti below, and bridges way, way above, the Don Valley has some great spots. Around Millwood Road; Overlea Blvd; Glen Rd. There's also some train track shots with bridges where it seems not a lot of people go.
Brickworks was mentioned as a spot -- there's some great shots possible of the entire bricksworks area up on the hill in the north/east corner.

Some more ideas for shooting locations:
* steam whistle brewery south of CN Tower * hydro corridors * pedestrian bridges between buildings
